IV Certification 30 Contact Hours

Class for LVNs, RN, and Radiological Technicians. LVNs will receive IV Therapy Certification for 30 contact hours with completion of 24 hours theory and 6 hours of clinical, and RNs will receive 8 contact hours for IV Skills enhancement.

This class will equip the learner with knowledge about how to assess, stage and treat pressure ulcers. Learn to identify individuals at risk for developing pressure ulcers, the appropriate treatments for all wounds types and various products available. Also learn to troubleshoot the wound vac.

This seminar will facilitate the transition from student nurse to the real world of nursing. The new LVN or RN completing this seminar will learn to organize and perform physical assessments per licensed scope of practice, properly assess, stage, and treat pressure ulcers and recieve IV Certification and Wound Care Certificate upon coompletion

Central Venous Access Devices:
What Every RN Should Know
Contact Hours: 8 Hours

This class is designed for RNs wishing to enhance skills in the management of central venous access devices. The class will cover nursing care and management of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC), tunneled catheters, implanted ports, and central venous access devices.  Participants will gain knowledge about catheter maintenance, complications, blood withdrawal, flushing protocols, and dressing changes.

KEY Pressure ulcer prevention Programs
Our KEYsm PUP program  based on evidence-based best practices will decrease the prevalence rate of hospital acquired pressure ulcers at your facility and Improve Patient Outcomes!
